Because the winter season is short and mild in Southern California, it usually isn’t until now (i.e. November) that homeowners start to consider special home maintenance needs for the season. That’s fine—if you haven’t arranged yet for fall HVAC maintenance with our team, it’s certainly not too late for it. Call us to schedule heating maintenance in Beverly Hills, CA or elsewhere in our wide service area.
What You Receive With Fall Maintenance
You might feel uncertain about fall maintenance and if it’s necessary to do every year. What is it you actually get from maintenance? What’s included? We’re glad to tell you, and feel free to call and ask us anything else about our service.
A complete system tune-up: This is the main part of fall maintenance—making sure you have a heating system in shape to do the work expected from it. Even with our mild winters, heaters still need to put in some work, and often they’re neglected.
When our technicians come to your home, they’ll take care of all the components of your furnace or heat pump. They’ll lubricate all the moving parts, clean or replace the air filter, and tighten the electrical connections. This will help ensure better performance, prevent energy waste, and lower the chance of repair problems cropping up.
A thorough system inspection: This inspection is done at the same time as the tune-up. Our experts look over the heater to spot places where repairs may be necessary, as well as hunt for safety hazards. Keeping your heater safe—an especially important step with gas furnaces—is our priority. We’ll check the burner assemblies, heating elements, flue systems, controls, and all minor components, and look over all gas connections and check the gas pressure. If you use a heat pump, we will check refrigerant level and pressure to see if there are leaks.
The thermostat is included in the inspection, since it needs to operate well for the heater to have the best energy equipment. We’ll recalibrate the thermostat if it’s off by a few degrees.
Bonus benefits: When you sign up for our maintenance program, a number of additional benefits are included. You’ll save 20% off any necessary repairs and you can jump to the head of the service queue in emergency situations—you’re a VIP to us and we’ll treat you that way! You’ll also be able to participate in our outrageous dollar deals.
If you also have an air conditioner in your house (we hope you do!), then you can register it in the maintenance program as well and expect us in the spring to tune-up the cooling system.
The Many Benefits of Maintenance
Maintenance is the best thing you can do for your HVAC system. On average, you’ll pay less in energy bills and worry about 85% fewer repair issues. Maintenance keeps up the system warranty and extends equipment life. Best of all, it offers peace of mind your HVAC system won’t fail on you when you need it most.
